Typeface Tuesday 12: Kidimo

October 21, 2009 § Leave a comment

Like a lot of art nerds and design geeks I know I have this magnetism to old sign letters. I have always wanted to spend a summer yard sale shopping and small town antiquing for letters. Doesn’t that sound romantic? Road trips all summer with a car full of letters. Dreamy. Well in my search for the elusive letter Q I came across the site for this store KIDIMO. Kidimo sells old signage. “Seriously are you kidding me?” No I am not. They are located in Paris and have an absolutely amazing selection of letters and words from old signage. The Who, What, Where — all came rushing to my head when I first saw this and freaked right out. Yes actually out loud and not jus’ typing lol crap. Peep the sample pics and please go to there site and feel the awe of a job well done.
